0038 PRVAKINJEEven though we are already in 2016, it is appropriate to look back and say few words about year behind us. 2015 was the most successfull year since we established our beach handball club in 2010. We are all hoping that 2016 will be similar by achievements like it was in last year. Let's take a look.

We are very proud of our female team who took our first title of Croatian champions by winning all three championships tournaments. They done it with score of only one defeat through whole season what is amazing achievement. Besides that, our girls have won Zagreb league 2015 for second time after 2011. But that is not the end of our golden medals in 2015. After european championship, our girls went to Hungary at Balaton Open. In very strong competition, Panthers took a new title of best female team.

As a champions of Croatia, our girls went to Champions Cup on Gran Canaria. There they played against best european teams, chamapions of their nations. Dubrava was 4th team of group A behind Skrim Kongsberg, OVB Beach Girls and 100 Ondas and in front of Beachqueens and Strandgefluster Minden. After defeat in quarterfinal, our girls finnished 7th best female team in Europe what si great success for our club.

Our mens team didn't have that good season. Injuries of few key players was too big loss for our young team, so we have to be satisfied by reaching third place in croatian championship. We are expecting much better results of our mens team in 2016.

We can not forget our national team. Beach handball club Dubrava had 4 representatives at european beachhandball championship in Lloret de Mar, Spain. Men's national team reach fourth consecutive gold medal with ours Ivan Dumenčić and Josip Jurić Grgić, both as a specialists. Our women's team finnished competiton at 9th place. Our wings Kristina Smiljanić and Ria Haček were part of the result.
